The Bio-MeGaFuel project continues to share its latest research with the international scientific and industrial community through presentations at major events in the fields of chemical reaction engineering, biomass conversion and sustainable energy.
- Membrane Reactor Modelling for Methanol Production at ISCRE29 & APCRE11
Gaetano Anello had the opportunity to present part of his work within the Bio-MeGaFuel project on membrane reactor modelling for methanol production at the International Symposium on Chemical Reaction Engineering (ISCRE29) and Asian Pacific Chemical Reaction Engineering (APCRE11) in Seoul, South Korea.
The event brought together researchers and industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, discuss recent advances in chemical reaction engineering and explore future challenges and opportunities in the field.
Gaetano’s contribution highlighted the ongoing research within Bio-MeGaFuel towards developing innovative approaches for the production of sustainable fuels.

- Waste Wood Gasification Presented at EUBCE
Philippe Eiden also represented the Bio-MeGaFuel project at the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (EUBCE) in The Hague, where he presented his work entitled:
“Pilot-scale Evaluation of High-Temperature-Winkler® Gasification using Waste Wood as Feedstock”
The presentation focused on the potential of waste wood gasification for sustainable syngas production, addressing the role of advanced biomass conversion technologies in supporting more sustainable energy and fuel pathways.
Both presentations provided valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge, engage with researchers and industry experts, and strengthen connections with the wider scientific community working towards the development of sustainable energy systems.
These dissemination activities contribute to the Bio-MeGaFuel project’s objective of sharing its research results and fostering collaboration across Europe and beyond.
