At CSIC, Lina Landgren has spent 5 months (2026/01/19 – 2026/05/29)  with the Combustion and Gasification Group at the Instituto de Carboquímica ICB – CSIC, tutored by Teresa Mendiara, for the completion of her Master’s Thesis, which she will defend at the Chalmers University of Technology.

As part of the Bio-MeGaFuel project, Sara Kosjerina conducted her master’s thesis within Task 5.2, focusing on future biomethanol value chains and business models and exploring the opportunities and challenges for scaling gasification-based biomethanol in Europe. Sara has now completed her Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, with a specialisation in Energy Supply through Clean Conversion Technologies.  Her work looked beyond the technology itself, examining the wider conditions needed for sustainable energy solutions to move towards deployment.
